How to get Spin
You need two things: a Steel Ball and $5,000, both taken to Gyro Zeppeli.

The Steel Ball can also be crafted: the schematic is $500 + 5x Steel Ingot, far cheaper than the $8,000 dealer price if your components are steady. You can carry 10 of them.
Why Spin matters
Spin is not just a speciality — it is the gate on the Tusk chain. Tusk ACT 2 requires talking to Gyro Zeppeli with Spin and Tusk ACT 1, and Tusk ACT 4 requires reaching 70 km/h on a horse while holding Spin and Tusk ACT 3. No Spin, no Tusk ACT 4.
Cost and tree
22 skill points completes the Spin tree. Go standless and the moves play Gyro Zeppeli sound effects.
The Scan unlock
Equipping the Eye of the Saint's Corpse makes the Scan ability available in the Spin tree. The board flags this as currently bugged — it does not actually check that you have the Eye equipped.
